An investigation has been launched right into a video which exhibits a boy showing to chew the pinnacle of a pigeon.

The footage, which was broadly shared on social media, is assumed to have been filmed within the Journal Road space of Derry in some unspecified time in the future during the last week.

The boy seems to choose the chook – which appears to be lifeless – up off the bottom and chew its head off.

Others might be heard laughing within the background of the footage.

A spokesman for theĀ  Ulster Society Prevention Cruelty to Animals known as the video “sadistic.”

They instructed Derry Now: “Whether or not it was alive or lifeless, it’s disgusting and vile abuse of an animals. We’d be appalled that somebody would derive any sadistic pleasure from both performing or filming such a grotesque act.

“We’d encourage anybody with data to contact the police.”

The Police Service of Northern Eire has confirmed they’re conscious of the video.

A spokesman mentioned: “Police have a replica of the footage.
